Motion Pet Rehab is owned and operated by Helen Dacre, a qualified and NARCH registered Canine Hydrotherapist, and her dedicated team of support staff. Our commitment as registered therapists means studying every year, keeping up to date with new techniques and developments so you can be certain your pet will be well looked after by knowledgeable, caring staff.
HELEN DACRE, level 3 Diploma in Small Animal Hydrotherapy and
When my Rottweiler Amber was diagnosed with bilateral elbow arthritis, I was told her quality of life would quickly decline. She’d have to take medication for life and would be left with a permanent and painful lameness. She was such a happy, sociable dog, I was saddened to think her life would change so dramatically. I knew medication could only do so much so I researched and found a fantastic hydrotherapy centre. I was sceptical but after a nervous first session we never looked back. Her lameness quickly reduced and I was thrilled to get my girl back for several more years. I felt so inspired that I gave up my city job to retrain as a hydrotherapist with a dream of one day opening my own centre. This year, with the help of my family and Amber's journey to inspire me, Motion Pet Rehab opened in the heart of Surrey, a place Amber loved to roam.
ALICE SEAR, level 3 Certificate in Small Animal Hydrotherapy
Hello, i'm Alice. I am currently studying Bioveterinary Science at Hartpury University and work at Motion Pet Rehab during the holidays. I was first introduced to hydrotherapy on a work experience placement which is where I met Helen. I enjoyed my time so much I wanted to develop my skills further, and qualified with my Level 3 certificate in March 2018.
